To start, our Renewal by Andersen® replacement window frames are made with Andersen's revolutionary Fibrex® material. Fibrex is a blend of reclaimed wood fiber and a specially formulated thermoplastic polymer that resists changes in temperature and prevents heat or cold transfer into or out of your home. All of the wood fibers used in the compounding process, as well as some of the thermoplastic polymer, are reclaimed directly from Andersen Corporation manufacturing plant operations.
Next, Renewal by Andersen windows are designed using High-Performance glass and are double-pane and thermal-insulated for year-round energy-efficient performance.
Renewal by Andersen is proud to be the only replacement window in the United States that is Green Seal certified. Green Seal is an independent, nonprofit organization that strives to achieve a healthier and cleaner environment by identifying and promoting products and services that cause less toxic pollution and waste, conserve resources and habitats, and minimize global warming and ozone depletion.
In addition, Renewal by Andersen replacement windows and patio doors are ENERGY STAR® qualified. ENERGY STAR is a government-backed program that helps businesses and individuals protect the environment by identifying products with superior energy efficiency.
